Key responsibilities
As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading from the front. Your duties will include:
12. Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
13. Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
14. The ability to follow recipes while adding energy and precision to every dish
15. Overseeing food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
16. Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
17. Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
18. Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
