You’ll help build and manage a newly formed Credit Risk Team, so will have prior experience of developing, mentoring and managing team promoting a culture focused on growth, collaboration, and operational excellence. Strong stakeholder management skills are a must, and you’ll be adept at presenting and explaining complex information to both technical and nontechnical staff. This role will form a pivotal part of the further development of our Credit Risk function, so it's imperative that the successful applicant will have proven experience in credit risk management and affordability strategies, proficiency in data-driven decision making and in-depth knowledge of UK bureau data. You'll be familiar with fraud detection techniques, alternative data sources and collections solutions.
