We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Private Chef for a warm, welcoming American family during their summer stay in The Hamptons, New York State.
This is a live-out, temporary role, ideal for a local chef who has flexibility and a passion for preparing fresh, healthy, and family-style meals.
You will prepare lunch and dinner daily (no breakfast) and cater to a core group of 5 Principals (including 3 children). You will manage occasional last-minute entertaining of visiting family and guests, and cook a range of delicious healthy dishes with a focus on barbecues, salads, Italian, Greek, Mediterranean, sushi, soups, and healthy grilled options.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about healthy, seasonal cooking, warm, professional, discreet, and able to adjust to changing schedules.
Requirements:
* Must be local to the area with own housing
* Experience cooking for large private families with diverse age ranges
* Flexible and calm under pressure
* Ability to accommodate dietary restrictions
* Comfortable within informal yet high-quality food service
