Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a neighbourhood to ensure estates are well-run and sustainable.
2. Assess the needs of customers, properties, and neighbourhoods to inform service delivery and improvement plans.
3. Develop and implement solutions to address identified issues, using both prescribed procedures and locally developed initiatives.
4. Deliver high-quality landlord services that support stable and sustainable tenancies.
5. Work proactively to prevent tenancy breakdown and promote positive tenancy outcomes.
6. Engage with customers, communities, and partner organisations to improve estates and local areas.
7. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support neighbourhood management objectives.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of services through feedback, innovation, and best practice.
The Person
If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we’d like to hear from you:
We are looking for an individual who has knowledge of the Scottish Secure and Short Scottish Secure Tenancies and who has experience of working with a range of Supports available to tenants. You will have experience of partnership working when managing tenancies. You wil be committed to assisting tenants to sustain their tenancy, while also taking action against any breaches of tenancy.
You will need good time management, communications and organisational skills. You will also possess IT Skills. You will be educated to SCQF level 5 or equivalent and you will require (if you do not already hold this) to undertake the Homepoint 2 qualification.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
