Job Objective:
The purpose of the Store Production/Department Supervisor is to oversee the production process and the personnel assigned to that process with a focus on meeting established production/sales quotas/goals.

* Assign, direct, and ensure completion of daily tasks for production/department team members, including housekeeping for assigned spaces.
* Train new team members on production expectations and processes.
* Provide quality control inspections, ensuring only the best product makes it to the floor (Good, Better, Best).
* Track and report production at scheduled times.
* Participate in production processes as needed.
* Proficiently use cash register at locations that require it.
* Implement assigned strategies to meet product acquisition, production, and sales goals for the day/week/month.
* Know the product acquisition, production, and sales goals.
* Diligently implement the product rotation process, including communicating with personnel to place supply orders and supporting store maintenance and appearance.
* Follow procedures for maintenance and safety concerns.
* Prepare for the next day's production and look for ways to improve donor and shopper experience.
* Communicate with Store Management regarding all facets of store operations, incidents, and concerns.
* Support management in creating a positive understanding of policies and procedures, and direct complaints and criticism to management.
* Support resource protection, implement product control procedures to prevent shrinkage, and control waste of property, utilities, and supplies.

Addendum: Donation Area Supervisors
* Sort, load, and unload all SA trucks per center policy, ensuring order and safety.
* Receive and receipt donated material, tracking donations per policy.
* Advise donors of unacceptable materials courteously.
* Power sort donations as they come in, where applicable.
