About the Role: You will teach Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves planning and delivering lessons that encompass various disciplines, such as Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, or Textiles, while fostering a love for innovation and practical learning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Design and Technology.
2. Inspire and challenge students to develop technical and creative skills.
3. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to ensure achievement.
4. Promote safe working practices in the classroom and workshop settings.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching resources.
6. Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as clubs and competitions, to enrich the student experience.
About You:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
8. A degree in Design and Technology, or a related field.
9. Strong subject knowledge in one or more areas of Design and Technology.
10. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
