Participation Support Worker (closing date: 30/10/25)
£28,142 - £31,022 per year. The Learning and Innovation Team in Child and Family Services are recruiting a Participation Support Worker to facilitate participation and engagement opportunities for children and young people, to ensure their views are heard and listened to in decisions that impact on their lives.
We are looking for a dedicated Participation Support Worker to join our Learning and Innovation Team. You will support the facilitation of participation opportunities for children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard in decisions that affect them.
In this role, you will support the Participation and Children's Rights Officer and the Learning and Innovation Team. You will plan, deliver, and evaluate participation mechanisms for children and young people, implementing the National Children & Young People's Participation Standards locally. You will champion children's rights and celebrate their active engagement, working with stakeholders to develop engagement and participation performance indicators.
The post holder will facilitate decision-making processes for children and young people, supporting self-advocacy and advocating on their behalf when necessary.
