This post is Fixed term/Secondment until 01/09/2026 due to maternity cover. The Administration Manager will be responsible for the provision of operation and day to day management of clerical and administrative services within the Children and Young People division under the supervision of the Business Support Manager. The post holder will manage the Information Systems and provide and analyses statistical information for the Health Board and other agencies as required. The post holder will manage changes to ensure the most effective and efficient management of the Admin team. The post will cover Wrexham and Flintshire with travel between sites essential.
Main duties
Working with the Business Support Managers the post holder assists with the operational management of all administrative, secretarial and clerical staff within the division. Ensure good lines of communication with A&C staff across the Division and disseminate information. Manage day to day performance of A&C staff and implement new ways of working to support the Operational Management Team. Produce routine and ad hoc information to support monitoring of quality indicators and achievement of Key Directorate objectives as directed. Lead on Task Groups relating to A&C issues to enhance and improve administrative processes. Ensure effective and efficient use of physical and financial resources by A&C staff. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. This post will cover Wrexham and Flintshire and travelling between sites is essential.
