Now Hiring: Car MechanicLocation: St NeotsSalary: £30,000-£43,000 DOEContract Type: PermanentShift Pattern: Monday - FridayAbout the role:We are looking for a skilled and reliable Car Mechanic to join our client, a local successful family business. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and work well in the team.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations)Diagnose mechanical and electrical faultsRepair or replace faulty parts and componentsConduct vehicle inspections and safety checksUse diagnostic equipment and tools effectivelyKeep accurate records of work completedProvide excellent customer service and explain repairs when neededRequirementsProven experience as a car mechanic or automotive technicianRelevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent)Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnosticsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood problem-solving skillsGood communication skilllsValid driving licenceDesirable Skills and Experience:Experience with modern diagnostic toolsQualified to Level 3 ideallyMOT tester certification (preferred but not essential)Knowledge of hybrid or electric vehicles beneficial)Shifts:Monday – Friday DAYSTo Apply : If you feel you have the relevant experience then please apply online or submit your CV to, or if you wish to learn any more then please give me a call on 01480 436000 or 07811304455INDHUNTPBN1_UKTJ
