About the team and role
We have a diverse range of employees, bank workers and volunteers from different backgrounds. Previous or current job roles and experiences working with vulnerable people is beneficial however we are more focused on recruiting based on values and the passion to make a difference.
Hours and location
Hours of Work: Bank worker – hours will be varied: between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday as required.
Location: Home based with travel around the East Midlands area.
Applicants should live in the East Midlands area; have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport. You may be asked to commute outside your specified borough; mileage is covered within our policy.

Salary and contract
Salary: £12.60 per hour

Independent Advocate Requirements
* Strong communication and time management skills to successfully work remotely.
* Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn software packages such as client management databases.
* Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of records and reporting to meet tight deadlines.
Desirable
* Previous experience in advocacy, information and advice, or a similar role within health, social care, or the voluntary sector.
* Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults.
* Working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations.
