We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join our established Nottingham team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a practice delivering secure and complex government projects that make a genuine impact.
The Role As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will play a key part in the design and delivery process, ensuring technical excellence across all project stages. Your responsibilities will include:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
* Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff.
About You We are looking for a detail-focused and proactive professional with:
* Proven experience working on secure, large-scale, or government/public sector projects.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (BIM experience desirable).
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
* Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.
