We are seeking to hire an Associate to expand our EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Alternatives for Wealth business within the Asset Management Division. The team is responsible for expanding and deepening our EMEA wealth partnerships for alternative investments. This includes the sales, marketing and ongoing client support for the alternative investments offered by the firm through third party intermediaries such as private banks, wealth managers, fund of funds / multi-managers and investment advisors across EMEA. This person will work alongside client coverage, reporting to the Co-Heads of the Third Party Wealth Alternatives business in EMEA.

This role, residing in the Third Party Wealth (“TPW”) Client Business, is for a motivated, organised and ambitious individual to support the expansion of our wealth and distribution partnerships, and for helping to drive growth of a range of products including those specifically designed for this client channel.
The successful candidate will work alongside relevant client coverage colleagues on the sales, marketing and ongoing support for all Goldman Sachs alternative investment strategies offered through third party intermediaries such as private banks, wealth managers, fund of funds / multi-managers and investment advisors.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supporting existing distributor relationships across EMEA, alongside client coverage teams.
2. Lead on various operating activities, often with a weekly / monthly / quarterly cadence
3. Manage complex projects and drive process improvements and efficiencies
4. Design and drive marketing campaigns – analysing market positioning, crafting communication materials and coordinating execution.
5. Formulate and disseminate fund updates and commentary to Sales teams
6. Contribute to thought-leadership and content-generation initiatives.
7. Coordinate with the global TPW Alternatives team on broader projects and firm initiatives.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
8. Looking for someone with 2 – 4 years of work experience, ideally in the private markets space or doing investor relations/fundraising
9. Strong presentation and communication skills.
10. European languages preferable – Spanish, Italian, German, French.
11. High degree of intellectual curiosity on alternatives investment strategies.
12. Attention to detail—proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy.
13. Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated, demonstrating a willingness to take on more responsibility over time.
14. Excellent work ethic and commercial perspective.
15. Strong organisational skills, with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with different deadlines.
16. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
