Job Description: Senior Therapeutic Support Worker
You will work with the team to promote and support young people in our care, fostering positive development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Ensure professional and competent day-to-day management, supporting the Service Manager to provide high-quality care.
Lead a team alongside other professionals to deliver therapeutic care and support tailored to each child's needs.
Record events, observations, progress reports, and assist in preparing and implementing care plans.
Act as a positive role model for colleagues and children, building trusting relationships that promote recovery, growth, and lasting change.
Requirements include experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models, excellent communication skills, a caring nature, flexibility, resilience, and a minimum of 12 months of children's home experience. A Level 3 qualification in residential childcare is also required, which will be recognized in your pay rate.
You must be able to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins, with full-time and part-time hours available. A full UK driving license is necessary.
Salary and Hours
Salary: from £31,231 per annum, with an additional £3,000 - £6,000 annually for sleep-ins (4-8 sleep-ins per month at £62.64 each).
Hours: Full-time long day shifts plus sleep-ins.
