We are currently looking for 2 Responsive Repairs Supervisors to join our team in Kingston.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the effective supervision of all responsive repairs works in your allocated area.
2. Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and DLO to ensure KPIs are met.
3. Manage all aspects of the delivery of works, including specifications & quotes, liaising with planners on work allocation and follow-up works, and ensuring plant and materials are scheduled accordingly.
4. Support other departments such as voids when required.
5. Support out-of-hours (OOH) supervisor call-out on a rota basis.
6. Conduct effective one-to-ones and PDPs.
7. Create and deliver learning opportunities for your team through talent management and succession planning.
8. Promote knowledge sharing among team members, providing tools and support to enable decision-making.
9. Carry out toolbox talks.
10. Provide support and advice on work-related matters.
11. Plan, allocate, and evaluate team and individual workloads, providing additional resources as needed, and support line managers.
12. Prioritize safety and health in decision-making, fostering an environment of open communication and learning from lessons.
13. Oversee work in progress, ensuring proper management and closure.
14. Ensure all aspects of HSEQ are adhered to at all times.
15. Ensure work progress aligns with contractual requirements.
16. Maintain records of plant, machinery, progress, and resources.
17. Attend ad-hoc inspections.
18. Assist in hand-over processes.
19. Employ value-adding processes and support in resolving complaints.
20. Report and support responses to H&S incidents.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in the repairs sector.
* Experience in social housing is advantageous.
