Role Responsibilities
* Plan and Deliver: Create high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Support Learning: Collaborate with the class team to facilitate learning opportunities and promote positive behaviors.
* Monitor Progress: Report on pupils' progress and concerns, working closely with other school staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
* Supervise and Engage: Oversee pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Build Relationships: Foster positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
* Degree Level Qualification: A suitable qualification is required.
* Teaching Experience: Previous successful teaching experience, preferably in KS1/2.
* SEND Experience: Familiarity with working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
* Behavior Management: Experience with behavior management techniques is a plus.
* Professional Development: A commitment to ongoing learning and development.
* DBS Check: Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check prior to starting work.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, term time only. You will be part of a friendly and inclusive team that is passionate about improving pupil outcomes.
