Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for payments.
6. Respond to supplier queries and provide resolution promptly.
7. Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
8. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
9. Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to improve processes.
10. Provide support in ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable assistant should have:
11. Experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
13. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
14. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
15. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
16. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
