We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands. Since joining Invictus Education Trust, Rufford Primary School has been on a journey of school improvement. We are now looking to recruit a teacher with high aspirations and standards for all stakeholders to continue with the progress made.

The successful candidate must be able to rise to the operational and strategic challenge, as well as being able to communicate effectively with Trustees, Governors, leaders and colleagues, enabling the best possible outcomes for children.

We are seeking an exceptional Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at Rufford Primary School. At Rufford, we are dedicated to ensuring all our children feel a sense of belonging at school. We prioritise inclusion in all aspects of school life and we are determined to support vulnerable children and help them to succeed in their education.

Key Responsibilities:


* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all children
* Promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in your students
* Scaffold teaching approaches to support the diverse needs of all children, including those with SEND
* Effectively use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons
* Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school


Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting

* Passion for working with children and a genuine desire to make a difference
* Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning and delivery
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This role has been assessed as working in regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
