A qualified Quantity Surveyor (over 4 years' experience) with drive and ambition is required to work for one of NI and the UK's leading building and civil engineering contractors. With a vast array of projects within Civil Engineering division, throughout the UK and Ireland, this is an excellent opportunity. Seeking to appoint an exceptional Quantity Surveyor, this role will be based in NI based with travel 2-3 days per week. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will join a busy but committed team, and initially be involved on Heavy Civils and Marine Projects. Identify potential overspend Minimise cost overruns Cost Valuation Reporting Undertake Site Visits Submission & Negotiation of Final Accounts Validating Subcontractor Applications Prepare Monthly Cost Reconciliation for Senior QS Cost reporting Interact with the project team to ensure maximum project procurement, production & strategies Ability to form and develop relationships with client, PQS, design teams, and supply chain Degree in Quantity Surveying Minimum of four year's experience in a QS/ PQS role Hardworking & enthusiastic individual Excellent people skills Commercially aware Team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills This is an excellent opportunity to continue developing your career with an award winning contractor, on some of the UK & Ireland's most significant projects.
