Learning Support / Teaching Assistant Roles - Specialist Education Settings
Location: Devon & Cornwall (various sites)
Employer: M&M Supply
Pay: £90 - £110 (Depending on experience and job requirements)
M&M Supply are currently recruiting dedicated and resilient individuals to support young people within specialist education settings. These provisions work with pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, many of whom have additional social, emotional, and mental health needs. Staff play a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment where every learner can succeed.
The Role
* Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assisting with personalised learning programmes
* Building positive relationships and promoting engagement
* Managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
* Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
What We're Looking For
* A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
* Resilience, patience, and strong communication skills
* Previous experience in education, care, youth work, or similar (preferred but not essential)
* Commitment to long-term roles - consistency is key in these settings
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance (essential)
