About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning and development across the curriculum. You’ll help create a welcoming classroom atmosphere, provide one-to-one or small group support, and assist with planning and preparation to ensure all pupils can reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
2. Provide individual and small-group support to pupils where needed.
3. Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and learning resources.
4. Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion.
5. Follow safeguarding and school policies to ensure pupil well-being.
Requirements:
6. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
7. Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
8. A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
9. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
