Job Description
3. Handle tenancy breaches and related enforcement actions in line with policies and regulations.
4. Conduct investigations into tenancy issues, including anti-social behaviour and rental arrears.
5. Prepare and issue legal notices and documentation as required.
6. Provide advice and support to tenants regarding their rights and responsibilities.
7. Work closely with external agencies and internal teams to resolve tenancy issues.
8. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on enforcement activities.
9. Attend court hearings and represent the organisation as necessary.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tenancy Enforcement Officer should have:
11. Previous experience in tenancy enforcement or housing management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
12. Strong knowledge of housing laws and regulations.
13. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
