This entrepreneurial lead B2B company has re-energised its product range, re-engineered its processes, invested in new systems and has recently completed a significant re vamp of its financial gearing. This has led to increased turnover, stronger margins and a return to profitability.
To maximise the potential of these investments, the Board want to appoint a commercial Head of FP&A. This is a broad outward looking role which is obviously both strategic and operational. As this role will be the engine room of the finance function, it will also have interaction with external parties such as the Auditors and Banks. It is envisaged that this role will, within a reasonably time frame, become Head of Finance.
Candidates should be qualified accountants with significant experience of forecasting, budgets and cash forecasts as well as the ability to produce meaningful financial reports. In addition, as this role will manage a team, you must have those values to manage people with empathy, kindness as well as focusing on performance. The Company prides itself on having great staff with very low attrition rates.
