We have a great opportunity to join our Southampton site as a Production Manager. This role will be responsible to lead, manage and continually develop the production teams in the achievement of functional objectives that support the Site and Company Business Plan. Work closely with the engineering, service and logistics teams to continuously improve site overall effectiveness ensuring utilisation of production facilities, people development and a lean culture.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
Lead the Charge: Guide and develop our production, stores, and engineering teams using SMART objectives .
Drive Improvement: Champion continuous improvement by analysing KPIs and running quality circles to enhance operational excellence .
Own the Outcome: Plan and coordinate resources to meet production budgets and achieve on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery, ensuring total customer satisfaction .
Uphold the Standard: Ensure strict compliance with all Health & Safety policies and quality standards, implementing corrective actions where needed .
Collaborate and Innovate: Work with the General Manager on strategic plans and capital requests to push our operational activity to the next level .
Be the Deputy: Step up and deputise for the General Manager in their absence, demonstrating your leadership potential .
What will make you stand out?
Proven Leadership: A track record in production, supply chain, or service management, with direct experience in people management, including disciplinary and grievance procedures .
LEAN Expertise: Educated to a degree level or with a strong background in a lean manufacturing/process industry. Experience with Lean (Six Sigma) methodologies is preferred .
Financial Acumen: Solid financial knowledge covering budgeting and forecasting .
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (including Project and PowerPoint) and ERP systems (AX preferred) .
Essential Qualifications: A NEBOSH certificate or an equivalent qualification is required .
The Right Attitude: You are an excellent communicator and a proactive problem-solver with the ability to influence and lead effective teams .
