ISOL8 Healthcare Limited is a UK/Irish manufacturer and wholesale distributor of medical devices based in Crook, County Durham. We supply high-quality products to the NHS, hospitals, and medical, dental and veterinary retailers across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring our products are stored, handled and dispatched efficiently and accurately. Working within a regulated medical device environment, attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential.
We are open to full-time or part-time applicants, and flexible working hours can be discussed. We would also welcome applications from individuals who may be retired but are looking to remain active in a flexible role.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently (loading/unloading goods)
* Unloading and loading containers and checking deliveries against paperwork
* Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately
* Preparing goods for shipment in line with company procedures
* Assisting with stock control and regular stock takes
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality procedures
* Supporting general warehouse and logistics duties as required
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous warehouse experience
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
* Acceptable level of physical fitness (role involves lifting and manual handling)
* Reliable and punctual
* Basic IT skills
* Resourceful and ability to problem solve
Desirable:
* Forklift truck licence (Preferably articulated/flexi trucks) – we may be able to support the right candidate in obtaining a licence if required
* Experience working within a pharmaceutical or medical device distribution environment
* Knowledge of stock control systems
