Learning Support Assistant - Wellingborough
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in achieving their full potential within a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Role:
1. Providing in-class support to students with additional learning needs
2. Working one-to-one or in small groups to support learning and engagement
3. Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
4. Supporting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs (experience desirable)
5. Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion throughout the school day
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
7. Be patient, empathetic, and supportive
8. Have strong communication and teamwork skills
9. Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
10. Be suitable to work with children (subject to safeguarding checks)
