Computer Science Teacher
Chester
January 2026 onwards
A well-regarded Secondary School in Chester is seeking a forward-thinking and supportive Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from January. The school is looking for a passionate, dynamic practitioner who can deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed, and full induction support will be provided.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be expected to:
1. Hold a PGCE with UK QTS/QTLS
2. Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of a range of learners
3. Maintain a positive and well-disciplined learning environment
4. Contribute to lesson planning, assessment and parents’ evenings
5. Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility, creativity and ambition
6. Show a genuine passion for teaching Computer Science
7. Deliver curriculum-aligned Computer Science lessons to learners aged 11–16, adapting teaching to meet varying levels of ability
