Registered Veterinary Nurse at Falklands Vets - Up to £30,000 DOE
Established in 1989 Falklands vets is a small but busy practice, with a loyal client base and varied caseload, including exotics. Set in the market town of Newbury and surrounded by the country's most beautiful countryside. The practice is a stones throw away from the town centre that boasts independent and high street shops and restaurants, charter and specialist markets, and first-class arts and cultural experiences.
We are searching for a RVN to join our passionate team at Falklands Vets on either a full or part time basis. The successful candidate will be working with a strong team of RVNs to carry our consultations, surgeries and Schedule 3 procedures in our busy practice.
The position is for 40 hours a week over 4 days with 1:8 weekends, but part time will also be considered. We are also open to a 2nd year or a newly qualified RVN.
The RVN role includes: To work as an active member of the clinical support team. To fully participate in the Nursing rota as directed by the Head Nurse. To provide the highest standards of client service and patient care To ensure the timely and effective communication with all colleagues working in the Practice. To provide assistance and support for the Veterinary Surgeons within the Practice environment. To comply with all professional regulations, legislations and standards associated with independent accreditation such as the RCVS practice standards scheme. To comply with CVS's H&S policies and attending relevant training as required.
