Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons. Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with additional needs. Promote a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. Support classroom management and help maintain behaviour expectations. Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources. Supervise children during break and lunchtimes as needed. Job Requirements: Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable. A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or support work is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff. A calm, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young learners. An understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection procedures. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
