1:1 Teaching Assistant - KS1 Support - Outskirts of Caistor - September Start
Location: Outskirts of Caistor
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Until at least Christmas)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £82 - £90 per day (depending on experience)
Simply Education is looking to appoint an experienced and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil with additional needs in a friendly and inclusive primary school near Caistor. This is a full-time role starting in September and will run until at least the end of the autumn term, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS1 learner with specific learning or behavioural needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions
Implement strategies in line with the child's individual learning plan
Help support emotional regulation and social development
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working 1:1 with SEN pupils is essential
Understanding of KS1 curriculum and child development
A patient, calm, and proactive approach to supporting learning
Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
A relevant TA qualification is preferred but not essential
