The Role
:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the group management accounts and driving continuous financial improvements throughout the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Compile the group reporting pack, incorporating foreign exchange (FX) adjustments.
2. Perform accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Prepare and submit VAT returns, including those for Ireland and the Netherlands.
4. Manage accruals and prepayments.
5. Investigate budget variances.
6. Deliver precise management reports to facilitate key decision-making.
7. Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
8. Provide financial support for ad hoc projects.
9. Support the finance team as needed.
Requirements:
10. Previous experience in a similar role.
11. Possess relevant qualifications and experience.
12. Exceptional attention to detail.
13. Skilled in IT, especially Excel.
14. Highly organised and diligent.
