Performance Team Admin Support Officer & Validator

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the timeline data for patients is accurate and appropriately reflects the patients' current position on the RTT pathway. This role requires regular contact with colleagues across the Trust from all areas and supports excellent clinical service to patients. The post holder will work with the MRI Performance Managers to ensure accurate data quality of the patients accessing services within the MRI Hospital.


Main duties of the job

The post holder will proactively monitor pathways to ensure the patient journeys are accurate and in line with national and local defined targets. This includes identifying and addressing potential breaches and escalating to the relevant Clinical Service Unit Teams and Service Managers.

Person Specification


Qualifications

* General Education to GCSE standard
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
* ECDL


Experience

* Proven experience of working to deadlines
* Ability to use complex software packages / manipulate and report information from databases
* Previous administrative experience in an NHS setting
* Previous experience of tracking and validating patients RTT Pathways
* Experience of working within an acute healthcare setting


Knowledge

* Understanding of patients pathway of care through an acute trust setting
* Knowledge of the National Referral to Treatment Waiting Times requirements
* Data protection and the need to maintain patient confidentiality
* Understanding of medical terminology relating to pathways of treatment
* Understanding of data collection processes
* Understand of IT generally
* Knowledge of trust policies and procedures
