Job Description
Reporting to the Manager or designate for the area of province they are working, the Emergency Medical Services – EMT/PCP responds to emergency and non‑emergency events and provides assessment, treatment and transportation of the ill or injured persons consistent with The Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations; Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Clinical Practice Protocols; The Paramedics Act and bylaws; and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) policies, procedures and work standards.
Qualifications
* Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute
* Valid Class 4 driver’s license
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
* International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Certificate
