Job Description
Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Systems Engineer Requirements Management - £34/hr (Inside IR35) Warwickshire (hybrid potential) 9 months (potential for yearly renewal)
Duties:
1. Develop and maintain systems engineering competence in the squad
2. Ensure the requirements authored are robust and meet quality standards by developing the process and methods
3. Gather end-user (system engineer) needs, wants, and concerns
4. Maintain understanding of system engineering process, regulatory, and legislative landscape
5. Work with business analysts and process experts to develop compliant and efficient processes
6. Identify key performance indicators and measures for system engineering processes
7. Work with domain product owners to identify inputs to product roadmaps for delivery of process, methods, tools, training, etc.
8. Guide domain product development (process, methods, tools, training, etc.) by supporting factory product owners and developers to understand system engineering principles and practices
Skills:
* Previous experience as a System Engineering practitioner across the whole System Engineering lifecycle (in a complex electrical/electronic, software, or mechatronic environment) within the automotive sector
* Experience in application of System Engineering tools and techniques in real-world scenarios
* Experience influencing business mindset and managing complex process change
* Significant experience with SE toolsets such as IBM DOORS, Rhapsody, Catia Magic, etc.
* Extensive experience in requirements management practices aligned with Systems Engineering processes
* Practical knowledge of system modelling, FMA, Cyber security, and Functional safety practices
Education:
Relevant Systems Engineering studies, certifications, and practices
