The Work You’ll Do
* Effectively review and value Sovos’ SaaS‑based products and services to current accounts.
* Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory, achieving account contract management business growth.
* Deliver profitable new agreements in current business, meeting and exceeding revenue targets and quotas while accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly.
* Build a year‑over‑year track record of consistent performance and accountability, managing complex agreements in large enterprises.
* Provide accurate and detailed sales data in Salesforce.com.
* Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders.
* Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
* Show initiative, drive, and determination to achieve results, success, and growth.
* Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action.
* Demonstrate a high degree of self‑awareness and commitment to personal development and learning.
* Clearly communicate value in a sales cycle and set correct expectations for implementation and use of the product.
What We Need From You
* 2+ years of account management and quota‑carrying sales experience; B2B experience preferred.
* Has met or exceeded annual quota for at least two years.
* Experience with SaaS solutions/environments preferred.
* Track record of growing and retaining a book of business and exceeding quota targets.
* Ability to present a value‑based, consultative agreement by listening to customer needs and shaping a long‑term partnership.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally, including difficult conversations.
* Experience with procurement, legal, and renewal negotiations.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
* Position requires minimal (less than 25%) travel, both domestic and international.
* Utilize technology (phone systems, computer hardware/software) to fulfill work requirements.
* Must pass background/drug check.
* Effective phone communication and careful adherence to verbal and written instructions.
* Self‑motivated team player, driven to exceed targets, displaying personal and corporate integrity.
* Projects a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
* Role model: mentors broader sales team, sharing best practices and messaging.
