An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing international business supporting the acquisition and expansion of accountancy practices across the UK.
We are looking for a commercially minded and ambitious Qualified Accountant to support acquisition activity, business development, and future operational growth within the UK accountancy sector.
💼 The Role:
You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating UK accountancy practices for acquisition, supporting due diligence processes, stakeholder engagement, and post-acquisition integration.
This is a highly varied opportunity combining:
✅ Practice acquisition support
✅ Financial & operational due diligence
✅ Business development
✅ Client engagement
✅ Market research & strategy
✅ Stakeholder & advisor coordination
✅ Transition & integration support
Responsibilities include:
📌 Identifying suitable accountancy firms for acquisition
📌 Liaising with brokers, accountants, lawyers & advisors
📌 Reviewing financial statements, tax records & client portfolios
📌 Assisting with acquisition proposals and negotiations
📌 Supporting post-acquisition operational integration
📌 Helping expand UK accountancy services and client base
About You:
✔️ ACCA / ICAEW qualified (or equivalent)
✔️ 2–3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
✔️ Strong commercial awareness
✔️ Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
✔️ Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
✔️ Interested in acquisitions, growth strategy, and business development
