Part 2 Student / Recently qualified Architect / Architectural Technologist

We are looking for a Part 2 Student / Recently qualified Architect / Architectural Technologist to assist with all aspects of a range of domestic and commercial projects throughout the Lothians and further afield.
WN Thomson provide a personal and high level of service to all their clients wherever they are located, and are looking to strengthen their team, located in Davidson's Mains, Edinburgh.
We are seeking applications from Part 2 Students / Recently qualified Architects / Architectural Technologists with relevant UK experience. Candidates will work collaboratively within a team environment with clients, contractors, and consultants primarily across the residential and commercial sectors.
Applicants should be self-motivated, confident working independently and as part of a team, and capable of coordinating and delivering project tasks on time.
Key Requirements include:
* A desire to join a growing team and contribute to the development of the practice and its collaborative nature.
* A working knowledge of current Planning Policies, Building Regulations, sustainability & other Standards.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, and ability to work to deadlines.
* A good working knowledge of AutoCad and Sketchup; and a strong interest to develop BIM and Revit skills.
* Experience in preparing detailed drawings, specifications and construction documents; a willingness to collaborate with contractors and consultants, and to participate in client meetings, presentations and contract negotiations.
* Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines; to conceptualise, plan and develop architectural designs; and to prepare detailed drawings, specific actions and contract documents.
* Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK; and hold a clean and valid driving licence.
