We are looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic Pharmacy Technicians or science manufacturing technicians who are keen to improve patient care to join our friendly Aseptic Services team working in our MS licensed Radiopharmacy and section 10 Aseptic unit. This posts suit self-motivated Pharmacy technicians who are looking to learn and develop further within Technical Services.
The role requires an understanding or willingness to learn aseptic processing and the drive to improve and enhance knowledge. You will be involved in the preparation and processing of aseptic products within a clean room environment based at St Lukes Hospital. You will be working in a team so good team working skills and communication are essential. The successful candidates will also be on the rota to work in the radiopharmacy unit based at Bradford Royal Infirmary once trained.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will need to be open and honest, demonstrate attention to detail and be able to follow detailed instructions and procedures. You will need to be capable of working to high standards of cleanliness and accuracy.
Summary of Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:
Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Services Skills (NVQ) or Level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician qualification or equivalent and you must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council or registrant of the science council. Newly qualified technicians must be in the process of registering.
Please note this post is subject to a probationary period of 6 months.

Qualifications
* Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Services Skills (NVQ) or Level 3 Science manufacturing Technician, or equivalent qualification which will enable registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or science council
* Qualified pharmacy technicians must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
* Newly qualified technicians must be in the process of registering. Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians who are due to qualify and register with the GPhC within approximately three months are welcome to apply.
Knowledge
* Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
* Knowledge of Radiopharmacy
* Knowledge and understanding of Pharmaceutical technical procedures specific to the area of work
Experience
* Experience of Technical Service Pharmacy
* Experience of working in a similar role
