About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Test Manager
to join a multi-year transformation program delivering a single global reinsurance system with consistent processes and global ways of working. This role involves overseeing all testing activities across multiple transition states, including:
* Migration of current reinsurance systems from legacy to cloud infrastructure
* Migration of regional legacy systems into a unified global platform
* Onboarding new regions into the global system
* Iterative delivery of global business and transformational requirements
Key Responsibilities
* Lead test management across all stages of the project lifecycle:
* Initiation:
estimations, planning, strategy, and environment setup
* Design:
requirements analysis, test scenarios, and case development
* Execution:
test execution, reporting, defect management, and test summary reporting
* Act as the
primary point of contact
for testing activities
* Drive
UAT planning and management
, coordinating closely with stakeholders
* Monitor, track, and report project status, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues
* Coordinate project reviews, audits, and follow-up actions
* Ensure testers have required access and permissions before execution begins
* Provide daily updates to Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders
* Triage and manage defects, ensuring they are assigned to appropriate technical teams
* Collaborate with vendors and business stakeholders, maintaining strong communication channels
Domain Expertise
* Strong background in
General Insurance
with in-depth knowledge of:
* Underwriting
* Claims
* Reinsurance (core focus)
* Finance & Credit Control
* End-to-end understanding of data flows across insurance systems
Technical Skills
* Mandatory:
Data Analysis, Data Testing, Migration/ETL Testing, Web Application Testing
* Preferred:
API Testing (SOAP UI, Postman)
* Agile/Scrum methodologies with hands-on Jira (Xray, Zephyr)
* Exposure to
cloud migrations (Azure)
and large-scale modernization projects
* Understanding of automation (Selenium, Tosca) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Process Skills
* Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC
* Deep understanding of testing deliverables and processes
* Hands-on experience with Agile testing methodologies and practices
