Electrical Instrumentation & Control Engineer
Key Responsibilities
* Lead review and specification of control systems across suppliers and internal teams.
* Apply ECSS standards to electrical design, integration, and testing phases
* Guide development of FPGA/microcontroller-based embedded systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/control system issues during integration
* Produce technical documentation aligned with ECSS and customer requirements
Electrical Instrumentation & Control Engineer
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related discipline
* Industry experience in aerospace, defence, or space electrical systems
* Hands-on knowledge of ECSS standards and mission-critical electronics
* Strong problem-solving, fault analysis, and system optimisation skills
* Clear communicator with strong documentation and reporting capabilities
Desirable
* Knowledge of ECSS software standards and systems engineering practices
* Experience with radiation-tolerant or space-qualified electronics
* Familiarity with control systems (e.g., PID), sensor interfaces, and power distribution
* Working knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. CAN, SpaceWire, UART)
* Background in high-reliability circuit design and embedded systems testing
