The Role
We’re looking for a proactive2nd Line IT Support Engineerto resolve escalated issues, support varied client environments, and contribute to service improvements.We offer funded certifications and career progression opportunities, so you can grow your skills and advance your career. You’ll work from home but need to be within20 miles of Littlehamptonfor occasional site visits (own transport required).
Other organisations may refer to this role as:Support Analyst, Helpdesk Analyst, 2nd Line Engineer, Technical Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or Helpdesk Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
* Resolve 2nd line tickets across desktop, server, network, and cloud.
* Escalate complex issues to 3rd line when needed.
* Assist with client onboarding and small projects.
* Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
* Mentor 1st line engineers and contribute to team goals.
* Travel to client sites as required.
Skills & Experience
* 4+ years in IT support (MSP experience preferred).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence and reliable transport.
Technical Skills Required
You’ll need strong experience in the following technologies:
