Summary
A Shipping Associate job opportunity is available at our manufacturing plant in Sacramento, CA at Milgard Windows and Doors. In this role, you will be responsible for truck loading and/or stocking the delivery routes. You will perform a variety of loading and stocking assignments.
The compensation is $22.50 an hour. The position requires a start time of 7 AM, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available.

Responsibilities
* Perform warehouse activities per standard operating procedures.
* Ensure loads are complete according to documentation on the correct delivery vehicle in the proper order.
* Troubleshoot missing products through the manufacturing process and expedite to ensure on-time delivery.
* Secure loads properly to minimize damage and breakage.
* Stock the warehouse according to the route.
* Maintain proper paperwork for all shipments, noting any discrepancies.
* Demonstrate Milgard's Quality Pillars in all business interactions.
* Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar environment handling various sizes of finished goods.
* Glass handling or knowledge is a plus but not required.
* Ability to read and understand window labels and route codes.
* Good hand dexterity and ability to use handheld scanning units.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure.
This position may require strenuous activities such as:
* Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
* Standing for long periods.
