Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute:
1. Lead medium size reformulation projects across different chocolate category platforms in the area of the flavours in Europe, adding the value to the products and eliminating consumer irrelevant product features
2. Support Procurement sourcing and business continuity projects, validate alternative limited flavours suppliers on sensory and process-ability metrics
3. Cooperate with Subject Matter Experts to assure our limited flavours specifications deliver desired technical functionality, reflect sensory expectations of our consumers and are process-able on our production lines
4. Run pilot plant trials and basic sensory validations, to assess the quality of the solution generated, constantly seeking for optimization and improvement
5. Challenge status quo, be curious, optimize formulas, judge and challenge incoming ideas to help to assure efficient R&D resources utilization on fewer but bigger initiatives
6. Work on flavours spec content reflecting industry standard features and making them up to Mondelez Specification Quality Standards
7. Cooperate within multifunctional projects teams to successfully deliver the solutions
What you will bring:
8. University degree in Food Technology or Engineering, Chemistry or related area
9. 1-2 years of experience in food industry
10. Chocolate, sensory, PLM, spec management system, SAP knowledge would be appreciated
11. Fluency in English required, other language skills (Polish) are beneficial
12. General knowledge of food manufacturing technologies, ingredients and technical curiosity, ability to operate or to learn fast how to operate pilot plant equipment
13. Good project management and negotiation skills
14. Enthusiasm and full accountability for the results, self standing, open and ready to learn on the job
15. Can do attitude, thinking out of the box, creativity and happy to take up the challenges
16. Ability to work independently in a diverse and international environment
