Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of commercial IT/Systems and Network administration experience. You should have demonstrable experience in Windows, Linux, and Mac desktop administration, as well as troubleshooting general PCs and printers. A good understanding of administering and supporting business applications, whether on-premise or in the cloud, is necessary. Ideal applications include MS Office, OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, and Google Workspace. A foundational knowledge of Windows and Linux servers and Active Directory is essential. You should also possess good knowledge of networking concepts, including wired and wireless networks, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPNs. Experience in providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support is required, along with an understanding of Cyber-Security and data protection concepts, such as firewalls, antivirus, and email security. Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and integrity of our digital infrastructure, including devices, networks, systems, and applications. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining business-critical systems and IT assets, such as laptops, network equipment, servers, printers, mobile phones, and enterprise applications. Creating and maintaining user accounts across business-critical systems. Managing and administering all business-critical systems. Monitoring and managing the performance of these assets to ensure high availability, data integrity, and business continuity. Collating and maintaining accurate IT and system performance metrics. Providing on-premise and remote 1st and 2nd line IT support for users across multiple business sites. Reviewing, managing, and updating the accuracy of IT asset and critical systems information within the business assets and systems registry. Processing requests for new IT equipment, services, and software while maintaining accurate records. Implementing, monitoring, and managing access control and acceptable use policies and procedures. Managing IT and network asset endpoint security. Implementing and managing the business’s backup and business continuity policies and controls. Overseeing day-to-day systems and network security operations. Working closely with the CTO and operations team to support the organization while adhering to IT and Security accreditation and compliance frameworks.
