Summary
All Hallows Catholic High School is a flourishing, high achieving and oversubscribed 11-16 high school. It is well known for its high standards of pupil behaviour and academic success. It is a popular choice for families in the local community each year and has a roll of 912. The February 2023 OFSTED Inspection reported:
This is an outstanding school and awarded an Outstanding Grade in every category. In addition, the school was also awarded an Outstanding Grade in its Catholic School Inspection conducted by the Archdiocese of Liverpool in January 2025. The Governors wish to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Senior Finance Officer at All Hallows Catholic High School. This role involves the strategic management of school budget and finance systems. It would particularly suit candidates with a high competency of financial management who wish to be part of planning and direction of a large high school.

Essential Qualifications
* Relevant professional qualification or significant vocational experience in finance
* Qualified professional or equivalent, with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
* Strong understanding of school business, financial, and resource management
* Knowledge of Data Protection / GDPR responsibilities
Essential Experience
* Experience in senior administrative and/or finance roles
* Experience of managing budgets of significant size and complexity (e.g. £3–4 million)
* Experience of line managing and developing teams of support staff
* Experience of contract negotiation, insurance, and licence management
* Experience of partnership working with external organisations
Desirable Experience
* Experience of HR administration for teaching and support staff
* Experience of facilities and premises management
* Experience of marketing and income generation (e.g. funding bids, lettings)
* Experience of leading Extended Services provision
