The role
Our Performance and Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing robust analysis, insights and reporting on individual hotel and overall portfolio performance in Revenue Management, Sales and overall Commercial Indicators to enable the business to make informed and effective decisions. The role reports directly to the Performance and Analytics Manager and is part of a team based from our Commercial Hub in Rugby - Northampton (NN6 7XR) .
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Collating databases efficiently, merging data flows from multiple sources fit and ready for BI tool interrogation.
2. Develop analytical models to evaluate the impact of different scenarios, assisting in the business decision making process.
3. Interact directly with multiple departments across the organisation, to deliver valuable business insight and areas of opportunity.
4. Provide technical and administrative support to the Performance and Analytics Manager and the Directors of Sales, Revenue and Commercial Performance as required.
5. Train key counterparts across the business in the use of reports and business intelligence tools.
Who we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level with a professional qualification gained in either statistics, information technology or related discipline. High level of numeracy, and computer literacy (including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence Platforms such as Tableau or Power BI). You will have a sound understanding of working with financial or sales-focused data to deliver directional strategic recommendations. Confident and comfortable in engaging with and presenting to stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
Understanding of the hospitality and travel industry would make you stand out from the crowd!
