Field Service Engineer
to join our industry-leading team. You’ll be at the forefront of diagnostic and repair capabilities for Caterpillar products, working on CAT engines, generators, and components across various sectors. Position Overview
As a vital member of our in-frame team, you’ll be working in locations such as
Leeds, Cannock, Cardiff, and Glasgow
. This is a permanent position that offers a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a supportive environment. Your Responsibilities
Respond to customer field repair and service requests with professionalism and expertise. Diagnose equipment problems using specialized tools and provide detailed information to customers. Estimate arrival times and communicate effectively with customers regarding service requests. Identify required parts for repairs and manage requisition processes. Perform repair and service work on a variety of Caterpillar engines and generators. What We’re Looking For
Education:
LDV driving license and formal training (NVQ Level 3 preferred). Experience:
Significant experience as a service engineer or equivalent, with knowledge of gas and diesel engines. Skills:
Proficiency in field-based diagnosis tools and equipment, along with assembly and disassembly of diesel engines. Why Choose Finning?
