Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 | Monday to Friday | Wimborne Area

We’re looking for an organised, computer‑literate Bodyshop Advisor/Administrator to join our busy commercial bodyshop. The role is office‑based with strong links to the workshop, customers and insurers, and offers a genuine opportunity to train and progress into a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) role.
The Role
This role is similar to a Service Advisor position, with a strong focus on administration and customer communication.
Key responsibilities
* Managing customer updates via phone and email
* Handling job administration and documentation
* Liaising closely with the workshop, customers and insurers
* Supporting vehicle drop‑offs and occasional face‑to‑face customer interaction
* Assisting with damage assessment and repair processes over time
All pricing and estimates are completed longhand (not Audatex), so attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential.
Training & Progression – Trainee VDA
For the right person, this role offers a clear pathway into Vehicle Damage Assessment. You’ll gain:

What We’re Looking For
* Highly organised with strong admin skills
* Confident using computers and systems
* Good communication skills (phone & email essential)
* Some trade or automotive knowledge preferred
* Keen to learn and progress into a VDA role
* Comfortable working with workshops, insurers and customers
Hours & Benefits
* Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays + long service leave
* Competitive salary £32,000 – £38,000, depending on experience
