About the role:
We are looking for a talented Senior Account Manager to join the Client Services Team at our Island studio in Christchurch. Working with some of the UK’s most loved brands, you’ll lead the delivery of creative campaigns, ensuring we always go Beyond Expectation for our clients.
As a key point of contact for your accounts, you’ll work closely with our Creative and Strategy teams, manage multiple projects, and mentor junior team members — driving excellence in every brief.
About you:
You’ll have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar client services role, managing creative campaigns across digital, print, marketing, social and email. You’ll be a natural relationship-builder with a strategic mindset, superb organisational skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
You’ll be confident managing and growing client accounts, leading internal teams, writing briefs, overseeing budgets, and presenting creative work back to clients.

Key responsibilities include:
* Day-to-day management of one or more client accounts and multiple projects within them.
* Leading project timelines, resourcing, and budgets.
* Turning client briefs into agency-ready creative briefs and project plans.
* Presenting creative work and project updates to clients with confidence and clarity.
* Managing junior team members, helping to guide their training, development, and progression.
* Working with New Business and Marketing teams to feed into outreach campaigns.
* Forecasting, tracking, and reporting on key account metrics.
* Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and drive new business.
* Ensuring all work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
* Attending client meetings, briefings, and shoots (own transport is essential).
1. Skills and experience required:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Account Manager or similar role.
* Strong understanding across digital, press, digital marketing, social and email campaigns.
* Demonstrable experience leading creative campaigns from start to finish.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong initiative, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience of line management and mentoring more junior team members.
* High attention to detail, strong proofing skills.
* Extensive IT skills, including proficiency in industry-standard tools.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
* A strategic thinker, always looking for ways to deliver more for clients and the agency.
