Your new role
As Finance Assistant, you will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with a small, dedicated finance team. Your responsibilities will include managing purchase ledger invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, and preparing supplier payments. You will also maintain accurate office and client ledger records, process disbursements, and assist with nominal analysis for budget holders. Additionally, you will handle time transfers, revaluations, and write-offs, while providing support to colleagues and responding to ledger queries from internal teams.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy transactional finance role
2. Strong background in purchase ledger or legal bookkeeping
3. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams
4. Experience withputerised accounting systems
5. Excellent organisational andmunication skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Desirable: AAT Level 2 and experience in regulated or professional services environments
