Position Title: Electrical Project Coordinator
Duration: Contract
Location: Solihull
Outside IR35, 40 hours per week, Fully Onsite.

About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical Project Coordinator to support project teams in the motorcycle/automotive industry.
The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating technical documentation, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
You will play a key role in supporting engineering and development teams by maintaining accurate records, checking technical drawings, and using tools like Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Management: Assist project managers in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and action items.
Documentation Control: Upload, organize, and manage project documentation using SharePoint and internal systems.
Drawing Verification: Review and check engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal standards before submission or release.
Excel Reporting: Use Microsoft Excel to generate and maintain tracking sheets, status reports, and performance dashboards.
Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes for internal and cross-functional team discussions.
Communication: Act as a liaison between departments (Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, etc.) to ensure smooth information flow.
Change Management: Support the coordination of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Change Orders (ECOs).
Process Compliance: Ensure all documentation follows internal procedures and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a project support or coordination role; experience in the automotive/motorcycle industry is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in an automotive electrical engineering area.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
Nice to Have Criteria:
Familiarity with SharePoint for document control and collaboration.
Experience checking or working with technical drawings (e.g., understanding of CAD formats, BOMs).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Exposure to PLM systems (Windchill).
Basic knowledge of CAD tools (Creo) is an advantage.
Interest or experience in motorcycles or automotive vehicles
